Mike is on the coast of WA and is at 63 right now. Im 35 miles east of Seattle and about 3 hours or so away from the coast and at 94.

We're having our seasonal microclimate differences here too. 
Traditional summer forecast
"night and morning low clouds/fog clearing by midday.  Highs 60s on coast, 80s bayside, 90s inland"

It's all about the fog bank offshore, and if the marine layer is 2Kft or better and an onshore flow.
If we have it, summer is very nice.  If a High over the Great Basin happens, the winds go Offshore and we heat up like the desert .. usually for a 3 day event every couple of weeks.
